[SWAF-Potluck] Maggie McNeill in The War on Whores

Here is an email from the filmmaker. This film will be screened in
Vancouver on *MARCH 20, 2019 *(location to be determined). There will be a
panel after the screening featuring Maggie McNeill, Sven Robinson and Kerry
Porth. I've had a chance to see the whole film and it's fantastic!




Dear Friend:


America's policy on Sex Work has never been more incoherent and harmful to
the people who do it.


Police and prohibitionists say they need to destroy this ancient economy to
prevent vulnerable women and girls from being "trafficked."


But most Sex Workers say their lives are made immeasurably worse by the
current policies that do little to protect people  actually in need of
rescue and are wasting hundreds of millions of dollars a year locking up
adults involved in consensual transactions.


It's worse than you think,  but the good news is change begins by just
waking up.


*"The War on Whores"* is the first feature documentary film to expose the
harm and waste caused by America's ongoing crackdown on consensual Sex Work
