[SWAF-Potluck] Sex & Romance: Red Umbrella March 2018!

Hi all,

We got the Sex & Romance section of the Georgia Straight!

This year we start at Victory Square at 2 p.m. for a tour of historic
Gastown and Vancouver's "Restricted District" in the 1886-1914. Free
souvenir to first 50 participants. We will re-enact the "Court Parade" to
Old City Hall, when the ladies of the evening marched to plead guilty and
pay their fines. Dress up! Wear red! Bring a red umbrella and come
celebrate 130 years of resistance to Canada's unfair prostitution laws with
us!

Victory Square, Vancouver, BC

Partners in organizing: Triple-X Workers' Solidarity Association of British
Columba, Downtown Eastside Sex Workers United Against Violence, Pivot Legal
Society, PACE Society, SWAN Society Vancouver, B.C. Coalition of
Experiential Communities, and FIRST: Feminists for the Decriminalization of
Sex Work.

Also: Red Umbrella Movie Night!
6-8 p.m. Carnegie Centre, 401 Main Street
No Human Involved by PJ Starr (Read the Georgia Straight for more details)
The movies will include some nice sex work shorts as well.
