[SWAF-Potluck] Question about travel

Hi Sweet Anna,

Your message came through to the SWAF list fine. If you are not receiving posts from this list, perhaps double-check your spam or junk folders. Certainly gmail occasionally puts listserv posts there.

One piece of advice I hear often when travelling to the US is to carry a “burner phone.” In other words, something with nothing on it, related to your privacy or work.

The BC Civil Liberties Association has just launched (yesterday?) a privacy handbook on electronic devices and crossing the border. I thought this might be of interest to other SWAF list people as well.

In solidarity,
Andy

Now I am hesitant to attempt to go across the border. Can anyone let me know if they have had any issues. Or any advice on this subject or stories you may have heard.
