hey libby,
I only use unscented organic coconut oil - it is the refined one. You may
be reacting to the essential oils, because what you put on your skin gets
absorbed into the body.
You may want to try Holy Oil which is very nice for massage and has the
non-odor, non-staining quality.
Also before doing the body slide and after the oil massage I always use a
small hot wet towel to clean off their backs and butts.
For the rash an amazing remedy is cannaboid oil from a canna clinic - non
THC. You can get it in a capsule and mix it with organic refined coconut
oil and then dab on the skin. I've use it and the rash disappeared in 2
days.
