[SWAF-Potluck] Request for feedback re: NakedTruth.ca

Hey friends,

As some of you know, I suffered a vaccine injury in 2008 that led to me
being permanently disabled and collecting CPP.

The reason I am bringing this up is because I have always dreamed of
earning an income off The Naked Truth so that I could devote myself to
activism and writing (on topics I am passionate about). The most recent
reincarnation of NakedTruth.ca is in blog format because it fulfills two
main requirements for me to continue to manage it: 1) It needs to be
manageable, as I am a one woman team; 2) It allows me to write about topics
I'm passionate about.

I have considered a few really cool ways to monetize the site but would
like some feedback. One way is to write and sell eBooks through the site on
relevant topics. Another thing I've thought about is doing a consignment of
sorts, where sex industry workers could sell their swag and books, etc with
NakedTruth.ca receiving a commission.

A third way I've thought about monetizing TNT is to have a platform for sex
industry workers to share their promo photos, post updates, and more. As
some of you may remember, the site had a version of that several years ago.
The intention was always to make is a subscription based site where
performers create profiles for free and others pay to see their profiles.

There is a lot of potential to something like this. It could allow club
owners and agents to find fresh faces. It offers sex workers a chance to
earn money and also promote their businesses. There are other sites on the
internet doing similar work, but this would be niche targeted to sex
industry workers.

I am sharing my ideas with you because I may have an opportunity to start
making some of this happen. My problem has always been that I don't have
the money to pay someone to create the website system needed for something
like this.

However, an old friend is considering working with me to make it happen.

What I want from you is your feedback: Would you use a system like this?
Would you subscribe? What about the consignment idea? In both cases, sex
workers with profiles would earn the money and TNT would only take a small
commission.
