I can't remember if i posted this here already. I apologize if so. Interesting little article on the history of Bitcoin, in a new book out called Digital Gold. 

I agree with Ki. I think the move by the credit cards backfired. Sex workers proved to be incredibly well networked and have a lot of business savvy, and this will have a large ripple effect on the use of digital coins.
