[SWAF-Potluck] retraining programs for sex workers?

There is a group of sex work support organizations in Vancouver that have
applied for the funding for exiting but I don't think they will be offering
anything that would be appropriate for the needs I'm seeing expressed
here. It will be more geared towards individuals with more complex needs
and those leaving abusive relationships.

I love Chenoa's idea where sex workers who are at a point where they are
transitioning on to other things or are ready to retire getting together to
support one another and brainstorm ideas. You're all experienced business
people and those skills can be applied to other businesses you might want
to start yourself or together.

I can certainly attest to the fact that it can be a struggle earning money
after retirement! I work 3 jobs and make considerably less than half of
what I made as a sex worker. I did consider going back to sex work a few
years ago but there were simply too many reasons not to.

Kisses to you all!

Kerry
