Here is the story from the Huffington Post. I think its important to note that consent is the issue. According to the Crown, Gladue's blood alcohol level was 4 times the legal limit. So regardless of the cause of the wound, Cindy could not have consented to "rough sex." I also feel that presenting part of her remains in court is basically an indignity to her body.
