[SWAF-Potluck] Yellow Pages Shuts Out Escorts

Dear friends,
I don't generally watch news or read the paper but i just read about Cindy
Gladue in todays Metro and am sick to my stomach at the verdict. In case
you werent aware as i wasnt,.she was an aboriginal sex worker in Edmonton
who was murdered by a client by being sliced in the vagina and bleeding to
death.
Disturbing, definitely. Cold blooded, beyond belief. The all male, all
white jury just acquitted her killer, Bradley Barton because they felt "
she consented to the violence that led to her death" !!! wtf!!!
So, there is a vigil tomorrow across Canada for her and demanding a
re-trial of Barton.

Let me know if anyone would like to go. Men in particular would be great to
have show support on this blatant sexist, rascist misuse of justice.
Any thoughts, opinions too would be nice.
No one in our line of work "consents" to be slit in half and bled to death!
