[SWAF-Potluck] Special Thank You & Looking for temp accommodation July 1st - 31st

Hi EveryBAWDY!!  I hope you're all having a safe and happy summer!

I woke up to an early email from my kids celebrating our "Five year
Bust-a-Versary"!!  Five years ago today the Winnipeg Police Service raided
my home (yada yada - took the kids, I'm a monster, predator, pervert,
etc.)!  My son was six weeks shy of his18th birthday and my daughter had
just turned 13.

Now here I am, getting ready to fly to Winnipeg for my daughter's
graduation from high school in the Advanced International Baccalaureate
Program (she's leaving for Europe in September to study International
Development and Human Rights, says the bragging mummy )!

Anyway, I know I'm not around much but I wanted to thank all of you for the
support, friendship and general feelings of warm fuzziness when I've needed
it the most!  You folks are the best!

And now for something completely different!  We're in the process of
looking for a house and have been staying at a hotel for the last couple of
months.  This has been fine however we haven't found anything yet.

I have to travel to Winnipeg a few times between now and August 1st so my
bf and I thought it would be more economical to find a sublet or something
along those lines.  Before posting/searching the "usual suspects", such as
craigslist, etc., I thought it would be a good idea to ask here.

So, with that in mind, we are looking for a temporary "living space" that
allows pets (we have a very well behaved, older lady cat and a well trained
one year old husky dog).   I'm fully retired so I wouldn't need it as an
incall. If anyone knows of a one or two bedroom place available from July 1
- 31, please let me know.
