*Hi everyBAWDY!  I think I have sent you all invitations to my party on
February 20th (in some cases, several times - damn you Google!!) and some
of you have replied that you will be joining us!  123YAY!! I'm so happy to
finally be able to entertain and I'm even happier that the guest list is
full of awesome people!  Now, unless you want me referring to you by your
email address (welcome brilliantbeki_1972 at gmail.com
<brilliantbeki_1972 at gmail.com>!  So happy to finally meet you in person!

*It is going to be an fabulous party and the food is gonna be insane!  My
son and I created a menu worthy of Aphrodite and Adonis!  Hence, Delicious
Greek Being Served ;-)*




*This is also a celebratory year for me as 2014 marks the fifth anniversary
of the police raid on my home, my being arrested at gunpoint and my
children being apprehended.  My son, Lewis, who was six weeks shy of his
18th birthday was also arrested.  The police continued their surveillance
after the raid for at least two months, arresting anyone who stepped on the
property.  After about 12 weeks, Lewis was able to come home.  After 51
weeks, my daughter was able to return home.  After 48 weeks I accepted a
plea bargain to plead guilty to one count of "keeping a common bawdy
house".  In return, the crown would drop the other 16 charges against me as
well as dropping charges against everyone else.  After 128 weeks I was
sentenced to a $2000 fine, 200 hours of community service and three years
of probation.  This month marks the completion of my second year on
probation.  So, in another 52 weeks, I will have paid my debt to society
for my poor choices (their words). *
*My daughter lives in Winnipeg with her dad but I had the great pleasure of
her company for the summer.  My son was also here in the summer along with
a couple of the women who were also arrested.  It was an incredible
experience talking with all of them at the same time *



* for the first time (they had bail restrictions banning any contact with
me).Hours were spent on my veranda, here in gloriously beautiful
Vancouver!  We all agreed that, if given the chance, we wouldn't change
anything.  We are all stronger and we are all in way better places as a
result of our shared experience.  Even though I plead out, I still count it
as a win.  WE WON!!! The Supreme Court says WE WON!!  WE WON YOU FEDERAL
MOTHERFUCKERS!!! It's a good time to celebrate*
* so, if you're available on Thursday, Feb. 20th after 8;00 pm,  please
join my son, my bf and I for food, fun and lots of conversation...maybe
