i did call them a few times in attempts to fight the removal of the erotic services section and offered our support in their fight to keep that section separate from massage.
its a not for profit who run craigslist and its global so they have no real way to check things. when we have asked for help in the help forums in the past we get called all kinds of names by other posters mocking us for being "whores" etc....
in a case like this though we may be able to appeal to them to check for us and see if its one person or a group of people flagging....worth pursuing kerry for sure...should i call or do you want to?

Hi everyone,
I really don't know much about CL as I never advertised there so, I'm wondering whether anyone knows whether they do any analysis of flagging?  Like, do they pay attention to whether ads are being flagged by users who have ads in the same category?  Whether it's one individual flagging a whole bunch of ads?  Curious because this would be a pretty easy tactic for the abolitionists to employ.  Does anyone know whether CL looks at stuff like this?

Last year I had a tons of problems on CL and I found that by not using keywords or by coding keywords with a _ (underscore) attached to th keyword stopped my competitors from finding me and flagging me so easily. I still get flagged every day but with 3 accounts on rotate it's easy to repost and repost. If your ad is getting flagged a lot they will put a 2 hour or more hold on your ad. Also, not posting a link in your ad, and just putting www instead of http (makes it a hyperlink) helps speed the posting process up. Change your photos so your competitors can't find you. It's more than likely massage parlours flagging you as they are by far hardest hit by the new laws. They are able to flag and delete from multiple mobile phones and take you down single handedly. Don't fret, it's always worse around Christmas. Just keep experimenting with different ads. I highly recommend LeoList and Backpage as alternatives. Make sure your BP ad is sponsored as I have had many of my ads flagged there as well.  
I am very sorry to hear people are having police called on them, that is just awful! What tha fuck is wrong with people!!

its illegal to make malicious complaints and to harass people on the internet. wasting police resources is a serious offence. once we point these things out...(money/resources/undermining of trust) whomever is responsible will be found and held responsible.
that's what is so cool about a public policy, its a starting point from where we can complain.
i think, and hope people agree...we should let them try to deal with the situation and defend themselves to us in a respectful way. its been a culture of "crazy" for 30 years...longer....
i think if we give them a chance they will sort out who is responsible and make them stop.
craigslist is another story...i spoke to someone there once...they are a non profit...lol anyway, they are based in the usa where prostitution is illegal and so are bound by us law, or so they said. thus the reason they removed the erotic services section originally,under pressure from feminazis...
i really hope its not them....
i will report back any info i can about my conversation with police.
