I have been in the anarcho-syndicalist closet for a very, very long time
but the "we're here, we're queer, get used to it" crowd has shown me the
way out!! Perhaps an anarcho-syndicalist party is in order!! We could
invite Noam Chomsky to be the guest of honour!! Hahaha! I mean Partay
kinda party btw!! Not of the political ilk *silly grin*
I understand what you mean re: NDP and Justin Trudeau. I feel the same way
however the prospect of vote-splitting leading to another Harper win
(majority or minority) seriously terrifies me!! I may sound a little like
a drama queen but I've been more than "twice burned - shame on me" in the
past so I'm sure you probably get me!! The next election is October 19th,
2015 (which will be my 52nd birthday so I'm hoping to get my way!) which
sounds like fairly far into the future but with our election cycles
becoming more and more Republican-esque (my homage to the Kafka-esque
episode of Breaking Bad), it is going to creep up quickly!!
In the spirit of Olivia Newton John's "Let's Get Physical", I say "Let's
Get Political" as well as physical!
I'm probably not going to make it to this potluck so I'd like to wish you
all the best of everything for the coming holiday season! MerryHappy
*insert your favourite holiday here*!!!
