[SWAF-Potluck] All Prostituion Laws Struck Down by the SCC! We Win!!

Congratulations Everyone and a big THANK YOU to all the people who took it
upon themselves and directly and indirectly helped make this happen,
protecting our human rights, our right to safety and making a living the
way we choose, as well as LIBERATING THE SEX ACT FROM MORAL JUDGMENT!!!!!
 This is a huge step forward. It takes big balls to step up as a sex worker
in front of the whole country and claim these rights!!

My question is, is there any way those Harper fuckers can play around with
this and try to bring in new legislation that fucks with this? I guess not,
they would just get taken to court again. Unless he gets to appoint a new
Supreme Court Justice...?  Let's wish those wise Supreme Court Justices a
very happy, healthy, long life!!!

I know there's been some discussion on what gets posted to this list, but I
would really love for someone to post a few of the articles about the
decision posted here, this is REALLY IMPORTANT SIGNIFICANT NEWS.

In particular, I wonder Anyaa, if you could figure out who has been
harassing you, if you could take him to court over this?!?!? He is
interfering with your Supreme Court protected rights!!!

I feel very emotional over this right now....For all the things that seem
to have been going wrong lately and the backsliding that Canada has been
taking at home and abroad, this is a really good one, people!! Our
government might suck, but at least the highest and  independent court of
the nation which really stands for Canadians, not just the rich elite who
vote for the conservative fuckers, has made a loud and strong statement
that WE ARE PEOPLE TOO AND WE HAVE RIGHTS AND THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD STAY
OUT OF THE BEDROOMS OF THE LAND.  What is consensual between adults has
nothing to do with the government or whether money is exchanged or not. We
pay for everything else in our lives, why should certain things be
excluded!?!?!
