First of all, thanks Andy for all the work you're doing to keep us up to date on current events in Sex Worker Land! You rock my sox!!! 

Now, on a totally separate subject, my daughter (who is now 17 - OMG I swear it feels like she was internally kicking me in the ribs not that long ago - how can she be 17?  Passage of time can mess with my head lol) is going into grade 12 in the IB (international baccalaureate) program in the fall and she has to write an extended essay on a subject of her choice.  The style is similar to doing a thesis in that she must do a combination of research, interviews and data collation under the supervision of a faculty advisor.  The subject she chose was The History of Sex Work Laws in Canada.

She will be spending most of the summer here and asked me to try and line up some interviews with sex workers and maybe Linda Malcolm from VPD... If anyone is interested in being interviewed or has any suggestions, please email me at barb.altman.wpg at gmail.com.
