A reminder that the next StopWar general meeting is this coming Wednesday,
November 2, 5:30pm at the Maritime Labour Centre (111 Victoria Dr). The
meeting will include a report back on the recent Canadian Peace Alliance
convention in Toronto.

Haiti TONIGHT and a Kayak Flotilla in solidarity with Gaza this Sunday.

Canadian Boat to Gaza is organising an action on Sunday, the day before
Haloween. We need your help.

We will be parading our CBG kayak around Granville Island. Can you join us?

Banners, signs and pamphlets provided.

Time: Sunday, October 30th, 1:00 PM
Place:  Granville Island--at the entrance under the bridge, rain or shine.
(Look for the Palestinian flag and the Kayak on wheels.)

Our goal is to remind people of :
-- the ongoing siege of Gaza
-- the predicament of the Palestinian people
-- what individuals can do about it
-- organisations here in Vancouver that might help them take action.

Our action will take place in concert with a Kayak Flotilla on Ottawa's
Rideau Canal--right up to Harper's office--to let him know what we think
of his policies on the Middle East.

Let's send a message to Harper from Vancouver. Join us for a walk in
solidaity around Granville island, Sunday Oct 30, 1:00 PM.
