Harper to Visit Honduras on Friday, Protest in Vancouver
What: Protest Against Stephen Harper's visit to Honduras
When: Friday, August 12, 12 Noon
Where: Outside Goldcorp corporate headquarters
666 Burrard St. (at Dunsmuir, across from Burrard Skytrain St)
Why: Because the Harper government backed the illegal 2009 coup against
the elected government of Manuel Zelaya, and because Canada has pursued
its corporate interests in Honduras to the detriment of democracy and
human rights.
