- Department of Peace Campaign - discussion re possible  collaboration

- Libya Forum in September - continued discussion and planning

- Under the Volcano Replacement Event:  August 14th

- PNE: discussion re plans to attend

- GWB's October Visit to Surrey

- NEW BUSINESS:  (This is the portion of the meeting where we attempt to
fit in agenda items that didn't make the one week's notice. Anyone can
bring forward items, including to the meeting with no prior notice, time
permitting.)

- Planning for 10 year anniversary of the war on Afghanistan

Welcome back delegates from the Gaza Freedom Flotilla

Let us welcome back the B.C. delegates from the Freedom Flotilla, as they
tell the story of the Canadian Boat—the “Tahrir”

When: Friday August 5, 2011. Doors open at 7:00pm

Where: Unitarian Church. Hewett Centre.  Near the north-east corner.  49th
& Oak

Four B.C. residents tell the story of the Tahrir with stories,
photography, and a short film. Hear about their motivations for
participation, their interpretation of Greece’s actions, and how the
Tahrir almost managed to set sail for Gaza. There will time to ask
questions and share ideas.

Join us for a reception afterwards.
