I sent it to about 100 people on my own email list.  I'm going to send it to the Louisiana Greens Announcement list. I'm going to send a  version to the Loyola Enviro List. Somebody should send some version to the Tulane Green Club.  I sent it to Sierra Club people and hope they and others will put it on their own lists also.

Hey guys, I am having some issues getting this to media... I think the newest gmail spam filters have finally outpaced my ingenuity.

Anyway for all who haven't gotten this already (and apologies to those who have), PLEASE do what you can to promote this worthy event via mailing lists, blogs, media contacts etc. If you are willing to distribute flyers, call Henry at 504 256 8715 ... he's printing up a ton and can drop them off where you are. Or you can print your own!

Why is Washington DC leaving our communities to DIE in the BP Oil Flood?

WHY is the Federal Government standing idle? BP is murdering the Gulf !

WHERE is the federal response? We the people of the Gulf Coast demand IMMEDIATE FEDERAL INTERVENTION and deployment of all available resources to STOP this flood of oil into the Gulf... NOW!

BP's greed & negligence MURDERED eleven human beings-- real working people, just like you and me, with real families, spouses and children-- and now BP is DESTROYING the entire Gulf Coast while the Federal Government does NOTHING!

The flood of toxic oil MUST be STOPPED NOW! No more delaying, no more excuses. BP is killing our wildlife, our oysters and fish, our birds, and our way of life.

This is CHERNOBYL IN THE GULF. The BP Oil Flood is destroying the Gulf of Mexico for ENTIRE GENERATIONS. WHERE is the leadership at the federal level? Where is the action?
