I am wondering if SAP plans on releasing a public statement on this
incident and whether SAP will take the opportunity to discuss feminism,
male privilege and intersectionality. That is what I am trying to organize,
with other collectives: public statements that do not focus/demonize on the
sources for the article and that open up a radical discussion on violence
and consent.

I will be emailing the UBC executives tonight or tomorrow and I hope to see
your group. If you plan on releasing a public statement, may I mention that
to the UBC execs, so they know that community groups are responding?
