1) International womens day
            - we would like to attend, with our banner, and hand out pamphlets
            - usman to check with martha if this is ok and if they need any help
                     - [update] i heard back from martha and she said its fine
            - usman to work on pamphlet (im really sorry but i havent
had a chance to work on this yet)
                     - anyone else want to work on a pamphlet for future events?

2) Watch a movie together
            - watched some trailers on the Media Education website
                    - http://www.mediaed.org/
            - decided to watch the bro code on saturday  9th march at
7pm at spartacus books (see peters recent email to the list)
            - everyone is encouraged to watch other documentaries on
the site so we can discuss which ones would be good to screen in the
future (maybe try and watch at least one before next meeting on
17th/24th)

3) social media
             - would be good to be posting/showing/creating/finding
feminist memes against patriarchy and misogyny
                    - alot of this already happens but need to direct
to our fb page as well
             - need to share more pro-feminist resources with others
             - need to keep our fb page more active, everyone
encouraged to post news/articles etc to the page

4) role of men (and possibly our group) in sexual assault support
             - how do we respond when we discover someone around us
has been sexually assaulted?
             - how do we respond when we discover a male friend or
acquaintance of ours has committed a sexual assault?
             - what mechanisms already exist in our community for
handling incidents such as this?

5) need to follow up with ubc sasc about funding denial and
programs/training they offer
              - usman to look into this

it was a shorter informal meeting so im sorry if ive forgotten to
include anything, please fill in any gaps.
