[Smashpatriarchy] Next Meeting this Sunday at Spartacus Books 4pm

Hey everyone,

I just want to express my gratitude to everyone who made our last meeting
on consent possible.  Lots of knowledge and experience in the room, which
gave me lots to think about.  I hope we continue to unpack the issue of
consent and further develop strategies and ideas for action.

I know that Reg is still planning to send out the minutes but I just wanted
to let everyone know that we will be meeting this coming Sunday (14th) at
Spartacus books from 4-6pm.  Harjap suggested that we dedicate this meeting
to planning our solidarity work and projects for the next couple of months.
 This meeting would also focus on our planning for round table
discussion for the social spaces summit in two weeks.

 Patriarchy and You

This workshop is aimed at people who benefit from patriarchal sexism,
exploring privilege and power effects (implicit and explicit) that
patriarchy has within our organizations, communities, and relationships. We
hope to engage who benefit from patriarchal sexism in meaningful discussion
around personal and collective actions we can make towards dismantling
patriarchal systems of oppression. Love and Rage
