[Smashpatriarchy] minutes of sept. 11 meeting

hi all. sorry for the delay in getting these minutes out. we met at mosaic
on sunday nov. 11.

thanks darren for sending me the statement of unity--please find attached.

as you may have seen, peter set up a "doodle" to try to find a new meeting
time.

we had a long conversation based on the reading chris sent around, about
the effect of male violence and sexist behaviour in social movements. we
talked about the way in which this behaviour / violence divides movements,
and about how to create accountability.

we talked about creating a list of articles and weblinks on patriarchy that
we could distribute at events. please forward all suggestions for resources
we could link to.

a suggestion for a name for the group: Solidarity Against Patriarchy (SAP!)

our next meeting, date yet to be determined, will focus on organizing
events.
