[Shadow_Group] Iraq 101

There are three major cultures in Iraq. About 5
percent are Kurds (Sunni Kurds) and 30 to 35% Sunni
Arabs (like Saddam Hussein) and 60 to 65% Shiite (or
Shi'ite).

Kurds (Sunni Kurds) mostly control the north which is
where the richest oilfields are.

Sunnis (Sunni Arabs) mostly now control sporadic areas
around Baghdad. They were the ones in power when
Saddam Hussein was in power.

Shiites (Shi'ites) control the rest or they hope to
after the elections and that is why they want quick
elections.

The problems lie in how each feel about each other...
