HALLIBURTON HIT WITH MULTIPLE LAWSUITS

Companies working in support of U.S. troops in Iraq are hauling Houston-headquartered defense contractor, Halliburton, into federal court with claims that the company stiffed them for hundreds of millions of dollars after they provided essential services in the war effort. Also a top-ranking U.S government contract officer has charged that Pentagon officials skirted the law and willfully violated federal acquisition regulations in the awarding the contracts in the first place.
