Specialized Journalistic Services is a Latin-Canadian Human Rights and
Freedom of Expression advocate organization. Formerly founded 10 years ago
in South America, was re-established in Ontario, Canada, in 2006.
We are currently offering a freelance job opportunity for a WEB EDITOR who
will be updating our corporative bilingual English-Spanish website. The
right candidate should know the Latino reality, have strong Latino
identity background and be aware of how the relations South-North should
be. The person to be chosen must also understand the role of the
alternative media in the current worldwide geopolitical ground and the
propaganda power as well.
Requirements:
1. The candidate must be fully bilingual English-Spanish
2. At least 2 years of Social Communication/Journalism studies plus 2
years of experience creating digital media content. Similar
education/experience could be considered for this position
3. Knowledge in different web edition software and tools. Multimedia
content publishing experience a must
This is a work from home position and does not include relocation or
