All,
As an update on the mediation process, Yesi and I had a preliminary meeting
with two members of QTPOC Colectivo of mediators who use a *transformative
justice* model of mediation (the collective declined to take on the, but
two individuals from the collective decided to take on the work).
They asked us to do some homework and get back to them. The homework
involves providing them info and background, as well as reaching out to
folks and getting them connected to the two mediators.
We thought the meeting went well and were going to pursue that route. This
just happened a couple of days ago, fyi.
If folks want to discuss this further I suggest discussion off listserve.
