[Sdalliance] Approved Points of Unity and Structure

Fellow Workers, 1) The committee members did a great job on preparing near-final drafts of the points and structures. I am looking forward to beginning to talk with other organizations about joining the Unnamed Left. Will the approved texts of the points of unity and of the structure be posted to the listserv tonight? 2) The typographical error I mentioned is in the point:"We believe in practical action to defend all oppressed people by any means necessary. through a diversity of tactics." A period should be a comma:"We believe in practical action to defend all oppressed people by any means necessary, through a diversity of tactics."  3) Also, in addition to the agenda items we agreed for the next 'mass' meeting, name of group and approval of mission statement. there is an item we agreed to take up during the discussion of points of unity. We forgot to get to it, so it needs to be on the next meeting agenda. The item is how open committees/campaigns will apply the points of unity to unaffiliated individuals. Will we bar people who are not anti-capitalist (liberals) from participation in open committees? 4) The current draft Mission Statement shares a lot of language with the Points of Unity. I think that makes sense if the MS is used separately from the POU, but it is awkward if the two documents are published together (like a single document). Did the committee talk about that?
