[Sdalliance] Agenda for our Sunday (2.26.17) Meeting & Self Defense Mtg at noon

i heard what happened at the meeting today and i dont like it. people
glossing over issues, shutting people off from talking, discluding people
form being apart of committees? not having knowledge of what's going on in
committees? um, no. this is not have we conduct ourselves as activists. i
got two statements from people saying how problematic it was today and how
people are letting issues of the marginalized be led by white folx and
white passing poc folx that are out of touch. enough is enough. we need to
have a discussion. this is this shit that makes me feel depressed which
acts as a domino effect then i feel suicidal. its triggering and im
shutting it all down NOW. i did not spend the day of my father's death
anniversary putting my soul into a movement that is suppose to help us to
instead have it turn into something watered down and become a by the
numbers org effort. i don't like hearing how the meeting was so timed and
anything brought up not on the agenda was dismissed. we are suppose to be
something Fidel or the black panthers can look at and say YAAAS but right
now they're saying NOOO. our focus is the raids, camps, our environment,
the police, etc. i shut the room down by letting us all know how to be when
we're in these spaces and im not there and this is what happens? there
weren't even any black folx there and i see why. i hope my brown folx were
there to shut it down. as far as the defense committee, we need that led or
co-led by someone of color. we also need to make it mandatory that we learn
spanish. how are we going to go into pueblos helping people we don't
understand and haven't made time to get to know. where they do that at? do
i have to break out my organ and give a sermon or a read? if u want to talk
to me, call me or message me but i am HEATED AS FUCK that grown ass adults
and the left as a whole can't get it together in the face of fascism. we
need to humble ourselves and we need discipline. we also need to read up on
how past civil rights leaders ran things and what their security protocols
were.
