Subject: [NLGMassdefense] February 11 pro-choice response

Friends, Anti-choice protestors are planning to demonstrate in front of clinics across the nation the morning of February 11. The International Socialist Organization is organizing a counter-protest in support of a woman's right to choose. Planned Parenthood asks that we--and all pro-choice people-- not exercise our right to protest for "safety" reasons. We believe anti-choice protesters will be emboldened if nobody dissents, and women are in fact adversely affected when nobody supports them in counter protests. Our counter-protest will go on as planned: https://www.facebook.com/events/474839586024509/ As a retired attorney and member of the DC branches of the NLG and ISO, I ask, if possible, for LO's at our counter-protest.
