Dear friends, local left members, local political activists,


Today, Thursday 4/6/2017, the United States has officially attacked Syria.


For this, Labor Today (WFTU North) is calling an event: San Diego Solidarity for Syrian Government and Syrian People. Saturday 4/8/2017 at 630PM Pacific at Memorial Park in San Diego.

Military and civilian locations are currently being attacked by missiles from the US Navy in the Mediterranean Sea.


Last week the US already sent soldiers into Syria -- with no approval of the Syrian government or the Syrian people.


The "White Helmets" are wolves in sheeps' clothing; one day they are humanitarian aide, the next day they are Al Qaeda militants. The "Syrian Opposition" forces are one day the 'moderate' "Free Syrian Army" and the next day the FSA is Jabhat Al-Nusra and Jabhat Al-sham, and ISIS actual forces in some cases.


The Syrian government, secular, with support of the Syrian people, Muslims and Christians, leads the battle against Saudi Wahhabi Islamacist extremism and the mercenary surrogate terrorist forces, this "Free Syrian Army" (NATO-backed, led by the US; Turkey, Britain, France, and even Israel).


The "POISON GAS" attack was not done by the Syrian government, and the US tried this same tactic years ago, which was exposed to have been perpetrated by the FSA/terrorist forces.


We, the San Diego left and political community, must come out in support of the Syrian government against the US invasion.


Our leaders in the US lied when they invaded Iraq; our country lied when we invaded many countless countries. We, the American people, must do stand on our feet and do something.


We must do something against this unspeakable evil which our country has just committed.


This is a real situation of Good vs Evil; of Syria vs US imperialism.

We must do something. All people, from all parts of life must come together to support the noble Syrian government in its epic struggle of David vs Goliath.


I live far away from San Diego, out in East County, but I will come for this event. Let us organize such an event. If we get five people? then we get five people. If we get thirty, then we get thirty.


FRIENDS. Organizers, left activists, veterans for peace, comrades.


Let us organize an event. We will be professional, peaceful, and respectful. Let us join together, please contact me. Even if we only get three people -- let us get together and hold such an event. Those who seek to wreck this event will not be successful. We will work together with respect and dignity for each other.
