Tanner, all, I am a little confused about why the new listserv. resisttrump_j20 at googlegroups.com is being turned off? The group running resist.ca is off course much better politics than google. But is there something else driving this? It does seem like there are tons of ways to devote our volunteer time/energy and duplicating listservs does not seem high on the list of priorities. Or is it?

Hello, comrades! By now you all should have received a subscription notification with details on your subscription from this general listserv for the developing San Diego alliance, but I'm sending this email out as well to make sure. I personally compiled this listserv from emails provided at the three meetings that have occurred so far (my apologies for delays in getting it running.) I am currently the only person administrating, but hopefully we can quickly transfer over moderation and other collective responsibilities to the Communication Committee. Please email me personally for now if you are having any trouble with the listserv, any concerns about your personal settings, or would like to unsubscribe (which you should also be able to do on your own.) You should have access to your personal preferences, etc., on the listserv at this link: https://lists.resist.ca/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/SDallianceYou can email all the list subscribers at SDalliance at lists.resist.ca. Ideally, at least IMO, the listserv should function mostly for basic communications. For a variety of reasons, it should probably not- at least right now- be a place for lengthy discussions or the posting of any secure information.
There is also an email-based interface for users where you can get info about using it by sending a message with just the word `help' as subject or in the body, to: help at resist.ca
All users of the resist.ca system must adhere to the member agreement whichis posted online at http://resist.ca/magree (and where you can also find details on the collective hosting our service.) Hope this is helpful and hope you are well! Sincerely, Tanner Smith
