[Sanctuarycity_hamilton] Important Updates from last meeting

Hi everyone!

So we didn't really take minutes at the last meeting because most of the
time was taken up with making our lovely new banner.  Happy to say that it
is done and waiting to be used!

However, we did decide to change our plan somewhat about getting in touch
with groups for organizing a community dinner.  We decided instead of
having a bunch of one on one meetings, to organize two meeting dates when
we can gather as many as possible together to start making connections,
talking about issues they are facing, and propose our idea of a community
dinner.

The two meeting dates we selected were Saturday April 2nd (afternoon) and
Tuesday April 12th (evening).  Yen is looking into getting space at Ngen
for us to meet.

So, in the meantime, as you start contacting the people on your list you
can invite them to whichever of these dates works best for them.  Obviously
if neither works, we can still meet one on one.

The other update from our meeting was that we are going to be marching with
folks at the March 5th Internal Women's Day celebration at City Hall (11am)
with our banner.  I am sending a call-out this weekend to our supporters to
join us there, but is there anyone else from the organizing group who will
be able to be there with me?

Finally, can someone else send the reminder about our next meeting date,
please, I seem to have misplaced it!

That is all I can remember for updates....anything else?
