[Sanctuarycity_hamilton] Updates, tasks, and flyer for Oct 9

Hi folks,

A couple quick notes and updates from conversation tonight.

I've attached a draft flyer here.  Mostly the same as before with some text
about islamophobia. Please make suggestions on edits and content, this is
just a draft to start playing with.  However, we have an offer from someone
to print them, and they need it by Wednesday afternoon, so if you can
respond before then please do.

I've been in touch with the united church and also invited the band to play
(they are discussing it tonight, so we should know soon!)

Other tasks:
Blake - can you confirm getting the speakers from CUPE? Also, were you able
to ask Mirna to speak?

Caitlin - will send out a short press release on Thursday, Ajit will be the
media contact this time.

Anyone who can - we are going to meet on *Thursday from 3pm-5pm at McMaster*
(my office KTH 326 should be available) to do posters and finalize things
Caitlin will do some big prints of the signs from the refugees welcome
site, Ajit will bring poster boards, and everyone who comes should bring
ideas for what the signs say.

In the meantime, please keep circulating the call out and following up with
anyone you asked to speak!
