Hi everyone,

I am meeting with someone at Homegrown at 3:30 who is interested in joining
the group. I won't be able to stay to meet up with YCL folks, but look
forward to hearing what they're thinking.

I think a banner drop can bring people together, even if it is not the same
as a rally. I also like the idea of diversifying the tactics we use as
opposed to always having a rally as these can be energizing but also
sometimes feel deflating when we don't build towards a specific ask or set
of actions. In this case, I see a banner drop as an action that can
restate the position of refugees welcome in a positive way and help build
towards an educational event in January (if we do what we did for the
die-in and take our own pics and publicize our own article on the action).
