[Sanctuarycity_hamilton] outreach email - please comment by MONDAY

Hi folks,

Blake and I met up today to talk about things with Sanctuary City and we
both feel that working on getting more people involved in the group is an
important thing to do right now.  Although we know folks are really
dedicated, we've been losing members and momentum a bit in the past few
months and I think we all really want to see this movement be strong.

On that note, we decided to craft an outreach email (attached) that we can
send through some of our contacts and networks (i.e. CUPE, SACHA, the
Tower, McMaster students, etc) to try and see who might be interested in
joining.  We laid it out with three avenues of work we as a group could
think about taking on if we have people interested in doing the work.  The
idea is to see what people are actually interested in doing because we have
gotten the sense that there are lots of people who want to see a migrant
justice movement in Hamilton, we just seem to have a tough time getting
them to come out to meetings.

Anyway, if you could take a look at this email and make any comments or
suggestions before end of day on *Monday April 20th*, that would be great.
Blake and I can take care of sending it out to people, but if you can think
of other groups we could send it to, please let us know.
