Hello Everyone,

I received an email tonight from a law intern, Amelia Calbary-Muzyka, at Connecting Ottawa, an organization that is focused on helping individuals navigate legal and social services in Ottawa. Amelia contacted me directly because we worked together during my undergraduate degree and she saw a familiar name on the Sanctuary City Report for Hamilton that her supervisor gave her. She is currently working on trying to do some research around Ottawa becoming a sanctuary city. She also mentioned that Maria was a guest speaker at their first strategy meeting last week.  She was wondering if we would be willing to share the survey we used for interviewing and anything else we might find useful or relevant. I informed her we could most likely speak about it at our next coalition meeting (can this be added to the agenda? I forgot who was assigned making the agenda) but wanted to inform you of the email prior to the July 9th meeting.
