[RhythmAgogo] T-Shirts

Hi again,

I will give my two cents: I think we should go ahead with it. We will still
have several hundred dollars left over, and it's not like we'll never see
new money again. We have the workshops coming up, several potential gigs
with small honoraria that I know of so far, and I think we might as well do
a fundraiser at some point, especially with all the planning we've already
done for a trivia night.

It's more than we thought, but I think it will be worth it. FYI, they are
unable to get L and XL shirts from Jerico until mid-October, so we could
wait until then, or order now and the S and M shirts will be from Jerico
and the L and XL from American Apparel. AA may not be as amazing as they
portray themselves, but I think they're still much better than most other
companies out there, certainly than anything we would get for dirt cheap;
and Jerico is Canadian-made and sounds to be as ethical as you can get in
the t-shirt industry. I'm personally in favour of going ahead with it now,
rather than waiting.

In both cases, I think we can count on the shirts being beautiful and
comfortable and generally high-quality. The thing that makes the price
higher than originally believed is that we hadn't considered the cost of
setting Fred's beautiful, six-colour logo. While I did raise this quesiton
early on, and initially advocated for a modified, two-tone logo, at this
point, having seen the art concept, and knowing we have enough money in the
bank to cover this, I think we should just go for it.

So that's my vote. The designers are itching for our approval, so what I'm
going to say is, please tell me by Friday if you are opposed to going ahead
with this. Sudhir, Alejandro, and others, I appreciate the alternative
suggestions. At this point, what I'm wondering is, is anyone fundamentally
enough opposed to going ahead with this order that you would wish to block
it? If no one states a fundamental opposition by Friday, I will give them
the go ahead.

Cheers!!!

Neil
