This weekend was great!!!
I will give a soft commitment for the 11th, and I'm really uncertain about the 5th… I have a lot on my plate.

Walk for Values is all about promoting human values. Everyone "pledges" to walk for a value: truth, love, peace, hope, honesty, etc., etc., etc. 
This would be very informal. Kind of like the Take Back the Night thing we did last September (the first time I had drummed with you guys!). We could also perform after the walk but it isn't necessary. 
If anyone is able and willing, please let me know and I'll take my drum.
The next drum circle? I don't know. Ramadan starts next week so it may not be until the middle of the summer. 
June 11th? I'm not sure. If we don't have a new staff person in place I will be working at the SODS booth at the Pride Fair the same day and doing the parade would be too much. If it is a go, I'll see if I can join in.
Thanks again for Saturday's performance everyone! And for those who stuck it out until the end, that drum jam was amazing! I have had several people tell me the energy in the room was incredible---and those were people not drumming! It still gives me goosebumps!

Hey all,Thanks to everyone who came out to play at Global Beats on Saturday! I got some very positive feedback. They love us! They really love us!Personally, I'm feeling like I need a night off tonight. If others want to practice, that's great... but maybe we should just officially take a week off here?Also, following up on Carolyn's suggestion, who would be interested in marching and making music in the Pride Parade on Saturday, June 11th? The march is at 12 Noon, though I gather they want people to gather by 10am. Who's interested? If we decide to do it, and the organizers accept us, we would have next Monday to practice still.Also, Julie, when is our next Community Connections drum circle? Next week?
