I can be at practice tonight if it's happening. I'll also be at the pride parade with the Charlie for Mayor group but could possibly drum, as well.

 I've only had one
 other person (Kyle) say they're available to march in
 the parade this coming Saturday, so unless a bunch of you
 have been sitting on affirmative answers, I think we should
 call off our participation.
 As to tonight, having a practice is less
 relevant if we don't have a gig, and Julie is sick but
 has the drums, so I'm inclined to cancel.

 Participants!
 We are less than one week away from the 2016
 Pride Parade! In honor of the parade's 16th anniversary
 we have themed this year's parade as the Super Queer
 Sweet 16 Birthday Party and we're hoping that everyone
 jumps on board with the theme when decorating your floats,
 vehicles and walking groups. Thanks to our sponsors, Tourism
 Saskatoon and Boston Pizza, we even have a prize for the
 best float! $250 towards the LGBTQ non-profit organization
 of the winner's choice and $250 worth of gift
 certificates from Boston Pizza will go to the winners of the
 float contest this year so get working on those amazing
 floats people!
 I have attached some information regarding the
 parade for your convenience, please read through this all
 before Saturday morning. Please pay special attention to the
 safety tips, height restrictions and location for marshaling
 area. We will indeed be marshaling underneath the University
 Bridge, and you will only be able to enter from Queen Street
 so please plan your arrival route accordingly. I will be
 emailing you all once more the day before the parade to tell
 you your placement number for the parade so that you have
 the information before you arrive. We will of course have
 wonderful volunteers at at the entrance to assist you as
 well. 
 Lastly, we have asked for all the floats and
 vehicles to arrive between 10am and 10:30am. I know that
 this seems early, but it is very important for us as
 organizers to have the vehicles in place well in advance of
 the 12:00pm parade start time. If you have a group of people
 joining your float or group, the rest of the group is
 welcome to arrive around 11:00 as long as there is a point
 person on site by 10/10:30. 
 
 Hopefully this information is helpful for you as make
 your final plans for the parade this year, but please email
 me if you have additional questions or items you need help
 with. I will include my cell number is the email I send the
 day before so that you can call me on day of if
 needed.
