Hi everyone, 
My apologies, but something messed up with the formatting on the original email and it deleted some of the details that I had highlighted...
The original email was missing important information regarding the rules/restrictions for floats as well as the date and time details - so basically, the most important parts :)
Below is what the original email missed:
Rules and Restrictions for floats: 
1. We recommend thatall decorative materials be made of fire retardant materials.2. It is theresponsibility of the entrants to ensure that the design and operation of thefloat is safe and reliable. It is also each entrant’s responsibility to obtaintheir own insurance for their float.3. Exhaust pipesshould be clear of decorative materials.4. Each entrant shouldhave 1 fire extinguisher in their vehicle5. The maximumallowable size is 10 feet wide (8 1/2 feet will fit in a traffic lane to driveto the parade), 60 feet long, and 11′ 10″ high (from pavement to uppermost partof float). Traffic lights and signs overhang the route; care should be takennot to exceed height limit.
