Hi everyone,

My apologies, but something messed up with the formatting on the original
email and it deleted some of the details that I had highlighted...

The original email was missing important information regarding the
rules/restrictions for floats as well as the date and time details - so
basically, the most important parts :)

Below is what the original email missed:

Rules and Restrictions for floats:

1. We recommend that all decorative materials be made of fire retardant
materials.

2. It is the responsibility of the entrants to ensure that the design and
operation of the float is safe and reliable. It is also each entrant’s
responsibility to obtain their own insurance for their float.

3. Exhaust pipes should be clear of decorative materials.

4. Each entrant should have 1 fire extinguisher in their vehicle

5. The maximum allowable size is 10 feet wide (8 1/2 feet will fit in a
traffic lane to drive to the parade), 60 feet long, and 11′ 10″ high (from
pavement to uppermost part of float). Traffic lights and signs overhang the
route; care should be taken not to exceed height limit.
