[RhythmAgogo] New New Listserv; Sunday Plans

Hello fellow percussion aficionados!!

*New New Listserv: *So, Resist.ca did eventually review my application for
a listserv and an email address, and they have now been granted us, as you
may have guessed by virtue of your receiving this message through this *new
*new listserv. This one allows direct subscription; here's hoping this made
it past everyone's junk filter. If you've decided not to be part of the
band at this point, please feel free to unsubscribe yourself from the list,
which should be easy following the instructions in the automated welcome
message you should also have received; if you have trouble with that, let
me know and I can unsubscribe you. There is also the option of getting only
the daily digest -- a single message per day, containing all of that day's
listserv conversations -- or even of receiving no emails, but being able to
log in to view the archives and send messages of your own.

*New New Email Address:* It is rhythmagogo at resist.ca. I suggest we use this
as our public email address. The password to log in and check it is
"patuscada99".

*Sunday Stuff: *Sunday, we will play at Rotary Park at 1:00 pm. Those who
can will gather at 11:00 am at the Peace Torch to set up and practice. We
will play four tunes: Samba Reggae, Funk, Bhangra, and Voodoo, in that
order. Given the time and the spirit, we may also jam out for a bit, led by
David.

invite friends and family. The event is totally open to the public, and
there is free food!

Even if you have not been able to make it to practices, there are a few
things you could help out with on Sunday, if you're interested. We need
someone to pick the drums up from Kyle's and drive them down to the site
for 11:00 am; we could use someone(s) to take photos and/or videos; and we
need someone to get on the mic and introduce us, name the tunes, and maybe
pump the crowd up a bit. Please say if you're interested!
