This appears to be a reply to the items I sent yesterday. See bottom of this message.
Let me spell out what I think Ali Yerevani is implying here. Lawrence Cannon has accused the Libyan government of violence against its own people. Therefore we should believe the opposite, because the capitalists and imperialists always lie.
If my interpretation is accurate then I would say this in response. The capitalists and imperialists are quite capable of telling the truth if it serves their political agenda. We cannot rely on them always to tell the opposite of the truth.
Earlier in the day I had sent this item, A revolutionary process of world scope. http://www.internationalviewpoint.org/spip.php?article1997 <http://www.internationalviewpoint.org/spip.php?article1997>
It includes the following sentence. Especially in Libya where the regime has attacked the population with military jets and helicopters and already killed more than 500 people there is a rapid escalation of the situation, which demands our full solidarity.
I am willing to stake my political reputation on the accuracy of this statement. And I state unequivocally that our place is at the side of the Libyan people in their fight against the murderous Qaddafi regime.
Let me rephrase my questions to Ali Yerevani.
What do you believe is happening in Libya?
Do you remain uncertain and prefer to wait for more information?
Why do you not state unequivocally that our place is at the side of the Libyan people in their fight against the murderous Qaddafi regime?

This challenge is to all those who have participated in the discussion so far.
The statement I sent earlier included this sentence.
"Especially in Libya where the regime has attacked the population with military jets and helicopters and already killed more than 500 people there is a rapid escalation of the situation, which demands our full solidarity."
Is this an accurate account of what is happening there? Should we dismiss it as imperialist propaganda? If it is accurate, do you condemn the violence of the Qadaffi regime?
As for Iran, I have forwarded articles and statements which accuse the Iranian government of violent repression against an unarmed people. Are these articles and statements accurate? If they are accurate, do you condemn the violence of the Iranian government?
