These can be displayed in a group photo at the end of the virtual picket!1)    The program will begin with invited speakers and greetings.2)    In concluding the virtual picket, those who wish to participate in the photo will be invited by the co-chairs to turn on their cameras to join in! On July 30, 2021 U.S. President Biden issued new sanctions against Cuba. When asked at the press briefing, "Will there be more sanctions against Cuba coming up or are you stopping with what you did today?" President Biden responded, "there will be more."
This is in contrast to Biden before the 2020 elections, who promised to end the Trump-era tightening of the criminal U.S. blockade on Cuba- including the elimination of American remittances to family in Cuba. The Biden administration is continuing to tighten restrictions against Cuba in the middle of the global Covid-19 pandemic, demonstrating once again the cruel nature of this 60-year U.S. policy towards Cuba. 
Join the Canadian Network on Cuba at this 16th monthly virtual picket as we continue our campaign to build pressure on the Biden administration to end the blockade on Cuba! We will have great speakers from around the world and unite our voices in demanding: Lift the Blockade on Cuba Now!
