Like the rest of the world, Havana and Cuba have just completed the first full year of Covid 19. It has done so with the full force of the U.S. embargo on its neck, including additional measures enacted by the Trump administration and so far not modified or removed by the Biden administration. What has Havana been like the past year? What is it like now? What have been the major challenges and achievements? ((4)) CAR CARAVAN Against the U.S. Blockade on Cuba in Vancouver & Internationally
VANCOUVER CAR CAVARVANSUNDAY APRIL 2511:30 amFor location information please email:nobloqueovancouver at gmail.com
Vancouver will once again be joining with cities across the U.S., Canada, and around the world for the monthly car caravan against the U.S. blockade on Cuba. Since November 2020, a group in the United States Puentes de Amor (Bridges of Love) led by the Cuban-American community, has been promoting the idea of “Car Caravans” against the U.S. blockade on Cuba in cities across the U.S. and Canada. These have been happening on the last Sunday of every month. On Sunday March 28, 2021, the Car Caravans took place in 50 cities worldwide. This inspiring movement against the inhuman U.S. blockade has been a collaboration organized by the local Cuban community and the Cuba solidarity movement.
We look forward to building participation in Vancouver on Sunday April 25 meeting at 11:30 am. For location please email: NoBloqueoVancouver at gmail.com
