This event will take place on the traditional and unceded territories of
the Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), and the
Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh) Coast Salish Nations.

In January 2019, U.S. puppet Juan Guaidó declared himself “interim”
president of Venezuela. One year later, Guaidó has completely failed in his
coup attempt despite the backing of the United States and their
imperialists allies. Far from becoming interim President of Venezuela,
Guaidó has been roaming through Europe and North America meeting up with
his imperialist masters such as US President Trump and Prime Minister of
Canada Trudeau.

As the U.S. government attempts to keep the failed coup dragging on, the
Venezuelan people continue to defend their Bolivarian revolution and stand
behind the democratically elected government of President Nicolás Maduro.
They stand defiant in the face of crippling U.S.-led sanctions and a cruel
blockade that prevents Venezuela from importing essential goods such as
food and medicine. This will of the Venezuelan people to not bow to
imperialist pressure continues to make them the target of the U.S. threats
and hostilities.

Join with the Fire This Time Venezuela Solidarity Campaign in Vancouver,
Canada to demand an end to the blockade against Venezuela, and  U.S./Canada
Hands Off Venezuela Now!

We will also be demanding that all charges be dropped against members of
the Embassy Protection Collective who were arrested by the U.S. government
in their heroic defense of Venezuela’s sovereignty. Read more about this

En enero de 2019, el títere estadounidense Juan Guaidó se declaró
presidente interino de Venezuela. Un año después, Guaidó fracasó por
completo en su intento de golpe de estado a pesar del respaldo de Estados
Unidos y sus aliados imperialistas. Lejos de convertirse en presidente
interino de Venezuela, Guaidó ha estado vagando por Europa y América del
Norte reuniéndose con sus amos imperialistas, como el presidente
estadounidense Trump y el primer ministro de Canadá, Trudeau.

A medida que el gobierno de los Estados Unidos intenta mantener el golpe
fallido, el pueblo venezolano continúa defendiendo su revolución
bolivariana y respalda al gobierno democráticamente elegido del presidente
Nicolás Maduro. Se muestran desafiantes frente a las paralizantes sanciones
y un cruel bloqueo lideradas por los Estados Unidos que impide que
Venezuela importe bienes esenciales como alimentos y medicamentos. Esta
voluntad del pueblo venezolano de no inclinarse ante la presión
imperialista continúa convirtiéndolos en el blanco de las amenazas y
hostilidades estadounidenses.

Únase a la Campaña de Solidaridad con Venezuela del “Fire This Time” en
Vancouver, Canadá, para exigir el fin del bloqueo contra Venezuela, y que
Estados Unidos/Canadá ¡Manos Fuera de Venezuela Ahora!

También exigiremos que se retiren todos los cargos contra miembros del
Colectivo de Protección de la Embajada que fueron arrestados por el
gobierno de los Estados Unidos en su heroica defensa de la soberanía de
