This event will take place on the traditional and unceded territories of
the Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), and the
Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh) Coast Salish Nations.

The cruel United States blockade against Venezuela, which consists of over
150 illegal unilateral coercive measures, negatively impacts all faucets of
life for the people of Venezuela. The blockade prevents access to foods,
medicines and basic ever day necessities. At the same time, it also cuts
off people in Venezuela from widely used digital services such as those
offered by Adobe, Oracle and Flickr, which closed all Venezuelan accounts
in October.

However, despite the overwhelming pressure that they face, the people of
Venezuela continue to defend their democratically elected President Nicolas
Maduro and make steps forward in defense of their sovereignty and
self-determination. Despite vicious maneuvering by the U.S. government at
the United Nations General Assembly, Venezuela was recently elected to the
UN Human Rights Council – putting a big hole in the plans of the U.S.
government to attempt to isolate Venezuela internationally and condemn
Venezuela for so-called human rights abuses.

By imposing anti-human blockades and wars and continuously violating the
sovereignty and independence of oppressed nations and peoples, it is the
United States, and their imperialist allies like the government of Canada,
that are becoming more and more isolated on the international stage. As
poor, working and oppressed people in the U.S. and Canada we must organize
against the bloody plans of the United states to overthrow the government
of Venezuela. Join with the Fire This Time Venezuela Solidarity Campaign in
Vancouver, Canada to demand an end to the blockade against Venezuela, and
that U.S./Canada Hands Off Venezuela Now!

We will also be demanding that all charges be dropped against members of
the Embassy Protection Collective who were arrested by the U.S. government
in their heroic defense of Venezuela’s sovereignty. For 37 days the Embassy
Protection Collective protected the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington, DC
from take over by supporters of the U.S.-backed puppet so-called “interim
President” of Venezuela Juan Guaido. Read more about this important

El cruel bloqueo de los Estados Unidos contra Venezuela, que consiste en
más de 150 medidas coercitivas ilegales unilaterales, impacta negativamente
en todos los aspectos de la vida del pueblo de Venezuela. El bloqueo impide
el acceso a alimentos, medicamentos y artículos de primera necesidad. Al
mismo tiempo, también excluye la gente Venezuela de los servicios digitales
ampliamente utilizados, como los de Adobe, Oracle y Flickr, que cerraron
todas las cuentas venezolanas en octubre.

Sin embargo, a pesar de la presión abrumadora que enfrentan, el pueblo de
Venezuela continúa defendiendo a su presidente democráticamente elegido,
Nicolás Maduro, y avanza en defensa de su soberanía y autodeterminación. A
pesar de las viciosas maniobras del gobierno de los EE. UU. en la Asamblea
General de las Naciones Unidas, Venezuela fue elegido recientemente para el
Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU - poniendo un gran vacío en los
planes del gobierno de los EE.UU. para intentar aislar a Venezuela
internacionalmente y compensar a Venezuela por los supuestos abusos de los
derechos humanos.

Al imponer bloqueos y guerras antihumanos y violar continuamente la
soberanía e independencia de las naciones y pueblos oprimidos, son los
Estados Unidos y sus aliados imperialistas, como el gobierno de Canadá, los
que están cada vez más aislados en el escenario internacional. Como
personas pobres, trabajadoras y oprimidas en los EE.UU. y Canadá, debemos
organizarnos contra los planes sangrientos de los Estados Unidos para
derrocar al gobierno de Venezuela. Únase al Campaña de solidaridad con
Venezuela de “Fire This Time” en Vancouver, Canadá, para exigir el fin del
bloqueo contra Venezuela, y que Estados Unidos/Canadá ¡manos fuera de
Venezuela ahora!

También exigiremos que se retiren todos los cargos contra miembros del
Colectivo de Protección de la Embajada que fueron arrestados por el
gobierno de los Estados Unidos en su heroica defensa de la soberanía de
Venezuela. Durante 37 días, el Colectivo de Protección de la Embajada
protegió a la Embajada de Venezuela en Washington, DC, de la toma de
control de los partidarios del títere respaldado por los Estados Unidos
