November 6 & 7 will mark the annual debate and vote in the United Nations
General Assembly (UNGA) against the unjust U.S. blockade on Cuba. As the
U.S. government continues to tighten the criminal U.S. blockade on Cuba -
this year it is more important then ever that people around the world join
in solidarity with the people of Cuba against this inhuman policy!
Worldwide we will demand: “¡Cuba Si! ¡Bloqueo No!” “Yes to Cuba! No to the
blockade!”

On September 28, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla spoke
during the general debate of the 74th session of the United Nations General
Assembly. He responded to the U.S. government's ongoing attacks on Cuba
explaining, “In the course of last year, the U.S. government has steadily
and qualitatively increased its hostile actions and the blockade of Cuba.
[...] The economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S.
continues to be the principal obstacle to our country’s development and
progress in the process to update the socialist economic and social
development model that our country has designed.”

At the recent international anti-imperialist conference in Havana, Cuba
international days of action have been called for this November against the
blockade. Let’s join the people of Cuba and the world in demanding an end
to the U.S. Blockade on Cuba! Friends of Cuba in Vancouver, Ottawa and
Montreal, Canada as well as Kiev, Ukraine will be in the streets on
November 17 uniting their voices!

The Vancouver event will be taking place on the traditional and unceded
territories of the Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), the Musqueam
(xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), and the Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh) Coast Salish Nations.

Los días 6 y 7 de noviembre marcarán el debate anual y la votación en la
Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas contra el injusto bloqueo de
Estados Unidos contra Cuba. A medida que el gobierno de EE.UU. continúa
endureciendo el bloqueo criminal de EE.UU. contra Cuba, este año es más
importante que nunca que personas de todo el mundo se unan en solidaridad
con el pueblo de Cuba contra esta política inhumana. En todo el mundo
exigiremos: “¡Cuba sí! Bloqueo no!” “¡Sí a Cuba! ¡No al bloqueo!”

El 28 de septiembre, el canciller cubano Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla habló
durante el debate general de la 74ª sesión de la Asamblea General de las
Naciones Unidas. Respondió a los continuos ataques del gobierno de Estados
Unidos contra Cuba explicando: "En el último año, el Gobierno
estadounidense ha incrementado cualitativamente sus medidas de hostilidad y
bloqueo contra Cuba.[...]El bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero
continúa siendo el principal obstáculo para el desarrollo de nuestro país
 y para el avance del proceso de actualización del Modelo Socialista de
Desarrollo Económico y Social que nuestro país se ha trazado."

En la reciente conferencia internacional antiimperialista en La Habana, se
convocaron días internacionales de acción para este noviembre contra el
bloqueo. ¡Unámonos al pueblo de Cuba y al mundo para exigir el fin del
bloqueo de los Estados Unidos contra Cuba! ¡Los amigos de Cuba en
Vancouver, Ottawa y Montreal, Canadá, así como Kiev, Ucrania, estarán en
las calles el 17 de noviembre uniendo sus voces!

El evento en Vancouver se llevará a cabo en los territorios tradicionales
del Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), el Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), y el
Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh) Naciones Coast Salish.
