This event will take place on the traditional and unceded territories of the Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), and the Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh) Coast Salish Nations.

Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba (VCSC) invites you to join us for a celebration of the life and legacy of revolutionary hero Ernesto Che Guevara – a selfless revolutionary who played a leadership role in the victorious Cuban Revolution of 1959, and whose example continues to inspire millions of people in the fight for a better world. 
This year we are joined by guest speakers direct Cuba who will share their perspectives on the continuity of the ideas and example of Che Guevara in Cuba today. They will also discuss the newly passed Cuban Constitution, Cuba’s ongoing struggle to defend itself against imperialist aggression, and its ongoing internationalist commitment to defend all people and countries who struggle for a better world. As Che said, 
“There are no boundaries in this struggle to the death. We cannot be indifferent to what happens anywhere in the world, for a victory by any country over imperialism is our victory; just as any country's defeat is a defeat for all of us.”
Along with these dynamic guest speakers and discussion, we will enjoy live music, poetry and refreshments.

Las Comunidades en Vancouver en Solidaridad con Cuba (VCSC) lo invita a unirse a nosotros para celebrar la vida y el legado del héroe revolucionario Ernesto Che Guevara, un revolucionario humilde que desempeñó un papel de liderazgo en la victoriosa Revolución Cubana de 1959, y cuyo ejemplo continúa inspira a millones de personas en la lucha por un mundo mejor.
Este año nos acompañan oradores invitados directos de Cuba que compartirán sus perspectivas sobre la continuidad de las ideas y el ejemplo del Che Guevara en Cuba hoy en día. También discutirán la recientemente aprobada Constitución cubana, la lucha en curso de Cuba para defenderse contra la agresión imperialista y su compromiso internacionalista para defender a todas las personas y países que luchan por un mundo mejor. Como dijo el Che,
“No hay fronteras en esta lucha a muerte, no podemos permanecer indiferentes frente a lo que ocurre en cualquier parte del mundo, una victoria de cualquier país sobre el imperialismo es una victoria nuestra, así como la derrota de una nación cualquiera es una derrota para todos.”
Junto con estos dinámicos oradores invitados y la discusión, disfrutaremos de música en vivo, poesía y refrescos.
